This room with a queen bed is one of the most romantic, designed especially for honeymoons or anniversary celebrations. The oversized Jacuzzi tub sets boldly in the turret, surrounded by windows offering a beautiful view. A shiny hardwood floor and fireplace make this room unique. An outside door leads to a shared balcony with the same awe-inspiring view of the mountains beyond the manicured grounds. There is also TV/DVD and full bath.
The name Sugarlands may make you think of a sweet place—however, it was one of the original settlements in the Smoky Mountains. It was named after the sugar maple trees that grow there. Norman's mother lived there as a little girl. The name is now used for the national park's main visitor's center, a great place to stop for information on the Great Smoky Mountains.
