Named after the mountain community where Sarah's Dad grew up, this room reflects the country lifestyle of our mountain ancestors.
If you are a quilt lover, then this room is for you. It is filled with heirloom quilts, and the high wooden headboard on the queen bed, adds lots of rustic charm. Be sure to notice the painting by Norman of the Greenbrier settlement before the National Park relocated its inhabitants.

Elkmont

The Elkmont Community, now inside the National Park boundaries, was the heart of the logging industry and where Norman's dad grew up and learned to play the fiddle.
This room has a luxurious king bed and 50's style black and white bathroom.

Smoky Mtn. Academy

This room is named for the mission high school which was established for the mountain families. Both of Sarah's parents graduated from this school. You will see their outstanding diplomas on the wall.
This room features hardwood floors, a queen bed and large windows facing English Mountain.

Ramsey Cascades

This room is named after one of the beautiful hiking trails of the National Park.
This room will easily accommodate three people with a queen and twin bed. Its delicate Victorian-styled iron bedstead along with the soft pinks and greens of the room make you feel as if you have stepped into a beautiful flower garden.

Cades Cove

Cades Cove, the most popular section of the National Park, is where the homes and churches of the mountain people were left intact.
The pioneering spirit of these settlers inspired a patriotic theme for this room which is filled with highly hand carved wooden furniture and luscious pillow top king bed. It will give you the spirit of 1776!

Chimney Tops

The Chimney Tops are a distinctive rock formation which lures many hikers to its summit for the beautiful view.
The queen bed invites you to lounge and gaze out the window at the beautiful view of rolling farmland framed by the mountains. It is filled with pleasant hues and art deco antiques.

Shields' Fort

Shields' Fort, the first settlement in this area, was built by Sarah's mother's ancestors just a few miles from the inn. Be sure to see the family tree in the common area.
Relax in the country blues of this room, filled with Shields' family heirlooms and a beautiful high antique headboard.
