Welcome to the Blue Mountain Mist Country Inn. Each of our guest rooms and cottages were designed with your special needs in mind: romance, history, peacefulness, and luxury abound in all of our accommodations. All of our rooms have queen or king beds and private baths. Your stay includes a full breakfast each morning, evening desserts and refreshments.

Deluxe Rooms

Smoky Mtn. Rooms You may wish to choose one of our 8 Smoky Mountain Rooms which are filled with antiques, heirlooms, character and charm.
Adjacent to the main inn is a beautiful victorian house with 2 guest rooms. This unique situation is great for 2 couples traveling together or 4 ladies on a shopping spree.
Cottages
For those who want the most in luxurious accommodations, our 5 cottages abound in extra amenities from fireplaces and Jacuzzis to porches and kitchenettes.

Each room in the inn is named for a historic or geographical part of the Smoky Mountains. Enjoy reading a little about the history of our area as you pick which room you would enjoy staying in the best. Our Smoky Mountain Rooms are all unique and beautifully decorated. Rates are based on double occupancy.



Greenbrier

Greenbrier Room full of quilts

Greenbrier Room full of quiltsNamed after the mountain community where Sarah's Dad grew up, this room reflects the country lifestyle of our mountain ancestors.

If you are a quilt lover, then this room is for you. It is filled with heirloom quilts, and the high wooden headboard on the queen bed, adds lots of rustic charm. Be sure to notice the painting by Norman of the Greenbrier settlement before the National Park relocated its inhabitants.

Elkmont

Elkmont Room with King size bed The Elkmont Community, now inside the National Park boundaries, was the heart of the logging industry and where Norman's dad grew up and learned to play the fiddle.

This room has a luxurious king bed and 50's style black and white bathroom.

Smoky Mtn. Academy

Smoky Mountain Academy Room with a beautiful view and hardwood floors This room is named for the mission high school which was established for the mountain families. Both of Sarah's parents graduated from this school. You will see their outstanding diplomas on the wall.

This room features hardwood floors, a queen bed and large windows facing English Mountain.

Ramsey Cascades

Ramsey Cascades Room with daybed This room is named after one of the beautiful hiking trails of the National Park.

This room will easily accommodate three people with a queen and twin bed. Its delicate Victorian-styled iron bedstead along with the soft pinks and greens of the room make you feel as if you have stepped into a beautiful flower garden.

Normal: $145
Off Season: $115

Rates are based on 2 people each additional person is $15.



Laurel Falls

Laurel Falls Room with bedside clawfoot tub The parks most popular waterfall is beautifully depicted in the watercolor painting above the bed.

This luxurious room has a bedside clawfoot tub for you to soak away your cares. Green and peach colors, along with beautiful antique furniture, fill this room with warmth and romance.

Cades Cove

Cades Cove Room with patriot decor Cades Cove, the most popular section of the National Park, is where the homes and churches of the mountain people were left intact.

The pioneering spirit of these settlers inspired a patriotic theme for this room which is filled with highly hand carved wooden furniture and luscious pillow top king bed. It will give you the spirit of 1776!

Chimney Tops

Chimney Tops Room with beautiful view Chimney Tops Room with beautiful viewThe Chimney Tops are a distinctive rock formation which lures many hikers to its summit for the beautiful view.

The queen bed invites you to lounge and gaze out the window at the beautiful view of rolling farmland framed by the mountains. It is filled with pleasant hues and art deco antiques.

Shields' Fort

Shield's Fort room full of historical artifacts Shields' Fort, the first settlement in this area, was built by Sarah's mother's ancestors just a few miles from the inn. Be sure to see the family tree in the common area.

Relax in the country blues of this room, filled with Shields' family heirlooms and a beautiful high antique headboard.
