General Information
Welcome to Blue Mountain Mist Country Inn
Our beautiful Victorian-style farmhouse located on 60 acres of rolling hills in Sevierville, TN provides a beautiful setting for wedding ceremonies and receptions, rehearsal dinners, as well as social and business meetings, breakfasts, luncheons, awards dinners or a variety of other entertaining needs. We can accommodate a maximum of 42 people in our dining room and up to 350 guests for an outdoor event.
Overnight Guest Accommodations:
We offer 12 beautifully decorated guest rooms that will sleep up to 27 people in our main house, a three bedroom guesthouse that sleeps up to 8 people and five individual cottages all within walking distance to the main house. All of our accommodations include a full southern-style breakfast served family style each morning, complimentary afternoon refreshments and delicious homemade evening desserts every day. Parties occupying 6 or more rooms in the main house will be required to rent the entire main house. Discounts may apply to parties renting our entire facility.
Menu Planning:
The enclosed menus are merely suggestions. We will be happy to prepare any menu you may desire (within reason) and we can accommodate dietary needs if informed in advance. To allow adequate time for preparation and ordering purposes, we ask that menu planning be completed a minimum of 3 weeks in advance and for all group events of 40 or more guests and wedding reception menus be completed 60 days prior to the event date. Other than vendors that are licensed and insured to cater and approved by Blue Mountain Mist event coordinator, the policy of the Inn is that food is not permitted to be brought on or taken off the premises. We offer full catering to any event, homemade desserts and beautifully decorated wedding cakes.
Guarantees:
The final guest count must be called in to the event coordinator a minimum of 30 days prior to the event. If guarantee is not called in, the approximate guest count or total guests served, whichever is higher, will be charged. The Inn does not prepare additional food for a greater number than the guaranteed guest count, therefore, a 15% additional preparation fee will be added to the quoted meal rate to all additional guests served in excess of the guaranteed guest count. All dietary needs must be discussed in advance!
Deposits:
A deposit will be required to confirm a specific date and time for your event. The deposit will vary according to the size, date until event and requirements of the event. We will inform you of the amount required before signing contract and this deposit will be due no later than 14 days after signing of the contract or Inn will cancel event. The deposit once received and recorded is NON-REFUNDALBE. Please refer to the contract for specific details on our cancellation policies.
Buffet Service:
Buffet services ONLY are available for groups of 42 or more attendees. All plated meals are available only in dining room with a maximum of 42 attendees.
Parking:
The Inn will have a parking attendant for events with more than 42 guests. The attendant will be on-site directing all vehicles one hour and a half prior to the event time. The Inn reserves the right to ask anyone to move a vehicle not parked in a designated area designed by the parking attendant.
All Inclusive Coordination:
The Inn has its own wedding/event coordinator to help you with all of your needs. Our coordinator includes two meetings in all fees and additional fees will apply for additional meetings. We will be happy to make wedding cakes, any and all food creations for dinners and buffets, floral arrangements, music arrangements (bands, djs, instrumentalist etc.) ministers, horse and carriage rides, tents, dance floors, photography/ video and arrangements for any other amenity you desire.
Gratuity/Service Charges:
Food and beverage charges are subject to an 18% gratuity on all events. We hand craft every food creation at Blue Mountain Mist and are very proud of the services we provide and would like you to know that the entire staff of the Inn share in the gratuity disbursement.
Rentals:
If any rentals are desired the Inn event coordinator will assist you in making arrangements. In the event of inclement weather Blue Mountain Mist requires a tent rental for parties of 50 or more people. Request must be made a minimum of 48 hrs prior to the event. Tent charges are determined by the size of the tent required to adequately protect all aspects of the event. *All types of music require a covered area!*

Indoor Receptions and Porch Receptions

Porch Receptions Include Buffet (food only done by Inn), Sweet and Un-sweet Tea, Punch and Cakes, Silverware, Plates, Personalized Napkins, Personalized Cake/Knife Server Set (No tables other than in the main dining room will be available and dining tables are only available from November –April or weekday events. Prior arrangements can be made and additional fees will be charged for rentals)
During peak seasons (May-October) Saturday evenings are reserved for a minimum of 100 guests for outdoor events only unless group is renting at least the main house. Please consult with our coordinator for details!
